I’m here to help. I’m Dr. Tomi Mitchell, a Board-Certified Family Physician, and Certified Health & Wellness Coach. I have over a decade of experience while running multiples businesses and being a mother and wife. I'm a bold, innovative, passionate, highly intelligent, and energetic woman. I wasn't always this way,  stress pushed me to my limits. I used the same tools that I'm going to share with you, to help me realize my inner greatness, my purposeful and passionate life, to honestly be the happiest I have ever been in my life. I will show you how to rise above the ashes. 

I’ll walk hand-in-hand with you, candidly but gently challenging you to achieve a healthier, happier, more balanced version of yourself. Who is Dr. Tomi Mitchell?

I’m a woman, a parent, a wife, a friend, a daughter,  an entrepreneur, a physician and a Mental Health & Wellness Coach. I’ve been practicing Family Medicine since 2011, both inpatient (hospital-based) and outpatient (clinic-based). I use the four principles of family medicine to guide my holistic wellness practice. I focus on providing client-centred “whole person” care. I also have experience in Aesthetic Medicine. However, my Holistic Wellness practice give me the best of both worlds. I get to witness people transformations, that otherwise, on their own, might have taken years, but with us working together, it was evident, in a matter of months. 

 

Holistic wellness is caring for a person’s whole being—not just physical wellness, but also emotional, intellectual, social, environmental, financial, occupational and spiritual. Together, these elements create a wellness wheel. When one part of the wheel isn’t right, it affects every other part. As both a family physician and a certified holistic wellness coach, I provide a “whole person” approach to wellness.

My practice is guided by values.

Client-focused. I believe my clients are the agents of their own change. Authentic. I understand life’s challenges because I’ve lived through many of my own. Compassionate. I care about people. Honest. I won’t hedge or sugar coat issues—but I never use honesty as a blunt instrument. Intuitive. I listen. Knowledgeable. Life-long learning and multidisciplinary collaboration are part of my DNA.
