I want to share with you a belief I have that has helped me through many difficult experiences in my life. That belief is that every experience, no matter how challenging or uncomfortable, has a positive intention. The challenges we face are meant to build our character and increase our resistance levels so that we can be better equipped for the next challenge ahead of us. When faced with any kind of difficulty, it's up to us whether we want to accept this belief and find gratitude for what it might teach us about ourselves or choose to be miserable and believe that everything is happening without a purpose.
When you are faced with a challenge, ask yourself, what is life trying to teach me? Ask yourself, what is the outcome you want to achieve at the end of it all? Remind yourself that some of the greatest people in life too had to overcome extreme challenges, and that you are no different. You will come out stronger and wiser, if you remain true to your beliefs and you choose honesty and integrity, despite the difficulties.
We need not see life as a series of unfair circumstances and suffer. We can adopt the belief that it is our duty to overcome what we are going through, and choose gratitude for all that has come before us in order to do so. It's up to you whether you want to accept this belief or be miserable and believe nothing good will come out of it. Yes, challenging experience might hurt. They might question your sense of safety and belonging, and that is normal. However, remember, every life experience has a purpose, so do your best to weather the storm and raise above with grace and dignity. You got this!!
