About Our Guest:

Growing up my mum suffered from depression at a time when mental illness wasn’t really recognized, and treatment was in its infancy.

On the outside, it didn’t really affect me but now I realize that this is probably why I can be intolerant of people who are ill, a bit of a people pleaser, and tend to look to others for validation and recognition.

I have worked through much of this mostly through trial and error. I’m not perfect and I don’t get it right all the time. I have found my purpose as a coach and I have made peace with my past. I am a work in progress, practically imperfect and my desire is walk by other Mums to find their place in the world and the peace that comes from accepting and loving themselves for they are and who they are meant to be.

Key Take-Aways

You are not alone. Motherhood doesn't come with an instruction manual. It really is a roller coaster, and that doesn't stop; whether you are a mum of a toddler or a teenager, you are still needed but in different ways, and it always involves feeding.
